Watch Station (2024 - ongoing)

Watch Station is a speculative fiction story that I am currently developing. The narrative takes place in a secondary world that has adapted to drought and water scarcity. The two main characters meet at the moment of a major change in the climate. From a Watch Station, they set out to discover how the landscape has been shaped and why the usual consequences for not following predetermined responsibilities are not being carried out.
To get to know these two characters and explore their world, I write, draw, make 3D models, film and photograph. Experiences and materials collected during various field research and artist residencies come together in this process.
